Marcel Vertes, "Parallelement". This is one of the nicest illustrated books that I have ever seen! A gorgeous livre d"artiste illustrated with numerous original lithographs by Marcel Vertes (of which 30 are full page), most of which depict nude young women in erotic situations. Edition limited to 99 regular copies and 20 copies reserved for the collaborators. This is one of the 20 "Examplair D'Artiste" copies on BFK Rives paper and it is signed in pencil by Vertes and the publisher. Folio. Loose as issued with tissue guards for each litho. Comes in a paper cover, a board cover, and slipcase. Excellent Condition, only defect is two tears in the paper cover, the artwork inside is pristine. Paris: Editions Vialetay, 1954. Large, each page is ~ 15x11".

Marcel Vertes, "Dames Seules", translates as 'Womem Only'. Wonderful book with 15 origianl lithographs celbrating women who love women. Edition limited to 52 numbered copies on BFK Rives paper, this being #50. Folio. Loose as issued with tissue guards for each litho. Comes in a paper cover, and blue box slipcase. Condition is good, but there is light foxing to the first few pages, and a prior owner's bookplate. Paris: Louis Godefroy, 1932. Large, each page is ~ 15x11".
