Marcel Vertes, "Quand Horthy Est Roi". This is an early illustrated Vertes paper-back book from 1922, numbered #30 out of an edition of 250. Condition is good for its age, some water damage on the back cover, but not extensive.

Marcel Vertes, "Les six etages". Fantastic Vertes illustrated book from 1925, with 20 original engravings! Each one is small, and unfortunately there is text on the back side that tends to bleed through. The plate embossing marks are clearly visible on each engraving. The subject matter is roaring twenties, fashion and eroticism. This is a paper back book with paper cover and the covers are starting to separate from the spine. The interior is fine. This is on thin Rives paper, numbered #369 out of an edition of 450.

Marcel Vertes, "Variations". 1961 Hardcover book with reproductions of Vertes' drawings, water colors, etchings, and lithographs, numbered 770 out of an edition of 1000 in English. Condition is excellent with mylar over dust jacket.

Marcel Vertes, "It's All Mental". Cartoons about therapy and therapists. First edition, 1948, Tudor Publishing. This is much larger than the later editions, ~ 11x14". One of 3500 of this edition. What stands this book apart is the original full page ink drawing on the front piece of a photographer taking a picture of a nude women. This is inscribed to George Fauto, signed, and dated 1949 by Vertes. Hard bound book, the spine is falling apart and there is tape over the spine extending onto the covers. Interior is very good, but the binding is starting to loosen. The original drawing is in very good condition with some age toning.
